Company/Location Overview:
The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for all maintenance of buildings and equipment including engineering of all types to ensure ongoing enhancement of daily operations and safety.
Also responsible for minor maintenance projects and purchases; coordinates major maintenance projects with 3rd party vendors.
Oversee and manage contractors for HVAC, elevator, safety/security, buildings and properties.
Manages one part-time Technician.
Job Description/
Responsibilities:
Supports all maintenance efforts within safety guidelines to ensure the proper functioning of the Sazerac House facility, plant and buildings.
Plans and implements a preventative maintenance program.
Assesses, analyzes, troubleshoots and determines solutions to mechanical problems.
Oversees work by third party vendors to ensure proper execution.
Monitors and enforces all OSHA and Company safety regulations and policies.
Provides leadership to the safety program for the Sazerac House through development and execution of safe practices and operating procedures to minimize the occurrence and severity of workplace accidents.
Participates in the Sazerac House emergency/evacuation program.
Creates and develops a personal development plan with management to improve a skill/competency that will develop personal skills and improve performance.
Ensure adherence to all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
Provides instruction and technical training to Maintenance Technicians, and operators on equipment, procedures, and improving skill levels.
Fosters teamwork, motivates, coaches, and develops subordinates.
Maintains the Sazerac House facilities and plant to ensure readiness for visitors and internal customers.
Understand and work with established standards to deliver the highest and most consistent levels of excellent customer service.
Prioritizes areas of the facility that have maximum impact to the guests
Experience:
restrooms, exhibits, service areas, etc.
Ensure production efficiency within cost standards.
Tracks efficiencies and production data to improve yields and output.
Helps prepare and manage annual and longer term operating plans to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or quantity.
Assists in annual budget preparation for the Sazerac House Maintenance Department.
